Docketbook has launched a new web user interface as part of a range of exciting updates to its application suite. After launching the new Site Manager App earlier this year, this refresh brings a new user experience for those that work with Docketbook in the Web UI.
“This is something we have been working on for over 12 months and represents a significant rethink about how we present information in the platform”, said Mark Shepherd-Smith. “Our old Web UI has been around for 7 years, so this is an important refresh that includes everything we’ve learned from our users during this time.”
Features such as customisable column lists, resource columns and greatly improved dashboards mean the data is much more easily accessible. Navigation between Orders, Dockets and Invoices is greatly enhanced providing important context at every step of the journey, and bulk actions make it easier to work with large numbers of dockets.
“Above all, we are an information platform, and these updates make the information so much easier to work with. And it looks good, too.”
Rolling out across Docketbook’s client base of major contractors, national materials and hire companies, and critical project suppliers, the latest enhancement can be accessed from within the existing web application ahead of a complete changeover later this year. “We know our customers appreciate the time to explore changes and trial new approaches, so we have made the enhanced interface available for familiarisation before the changeover date. Early feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, and I would encourage all our users to take advantage of the ‘try new look’ feature and explore the app,” said Mark.
