Docketbook Launches new Site Manager Feature
Docketbook is excited to announce the latest enhancement to its digital docket solution with the release of the Site Manager App on IOS and Android. This new app gives supervisors, engineers and other site reps greater flexibility and control for managing inbound dockets through a personalised experience tailored to their roles and responsibilities.
“Site Manager creates a personalised to-do list for docket sign-off,” said Docketbook’s Mark Shepherd-Smith. “Utilising Docketbook, it is already possible to digitally capture, approve and integrate every docket created on a project, simplifying cost approval, reconciliation and payments. Site Manager takes this information and personalises it for use in the field by anyone responsible for the approval and sign-off of site dockets.”
Site Manager creates a collaborative team environment with users able to personalise what they see so that their tasks and actions are immediately available for review and action. Filterable by supplier, purchase order and docket status (signed/unsigned, accepted and filed), Site Manager enables faster processing of dockets to get the information to where it needs to be for visibility of progress, activities and costs.
When a site docket is created by a supplier or subcontractor, it is sent to the project, where it can be signed, approved, or rejected all within the simple inbox experience. In addition, users can add in cost codes before the docket is sent to reporting and finance teams for processing and payment.
“On major projects, the supervisor or leading hand is often the first point of contact responsible for signing off activities, deliveries, materials, proof of work, wet and dry hire, and labour usage. Typically, this is on top of everything they are required to do. Site Manager has been designed to simplify the entire process, more mobile and fully integrated with reporting and financial systems to improve the real-time processing and sharing of site data.”
“The result is that at any point in time, a project engineer or site engineer can see exactly what has happened on site and understand what activities are taking place or critically should be taking place in real-time.”
“Docketbook was designed to improve the digital workflow and productivity of site-based construction and engineering activities in a world where every transaction is becoming digitised. Site Manager is a further enhancement to our solution offering true role and task-based personalisation for users in the field and creating collaborative team environments based on what users need to do,” said Mr Shepherd-Smith.
